Governance and Intellectual Property

Ownership, licensing, and the decision-making structure behind Condrox AI. Who owns the work, how it is protected, and how decisions get made.

Ownership

Condrox AI is wholly owned by Tobias Østen. All source code, documentation, knowledge stores, test suites, deployment infrastructure, and this website were created by him. No third party holds any claim on the intellectual property. No employer, no investor, no funding body, no academic institution has any ownership stake.

The system was built independently, on personal time, using personal resources. It is not a work for hire. It is not a university project. It is not a startup with external funding. It is the product of one person's sustained engineering effort over 16 development phases spanning December 2025 to July 2026.

Licensing

The current license is proprietary. All rights are reserved. No open-source license has been granted at this time.

Licensing options under consideration for the future:

The decision on licensing will be made based on sustainability, community impact, and the ability to maintain quality standards. No timeline has been set for this decision.

Decision-Making Structure

All decisions about Condrox AI are made by Tobias Østen. This includes:

There is no board, no committee, no advisory group. The advantage is speed and consistency. The risk is key-person dependency. The 938-test suite, full documentation, and Evidence Engine are the mitigations against that risk. Any competent engineer can take over the codebase using the existing documentation and tests.

Data Rights

The knowledge store (21,917 items across 15 domains) was compiled from publicly available official sources. No proprietary data was used. No user data is collected by the system itself. The API does not log request content beyond what is necessary for debugging and performance monitoring.
